Coleman Goodemote Safety
Safety is a point of pride at Coleman Goodemote Construction. Throughout the history of the company emphasis has been placed on the safety of all employees at our construction sites. Unchecked, construction can be very dangerous, however with implementation of procedures on site, it doesn’t have to be. At Coleman Goodemote we have developed and implement a Corporate Safety Program which includes the following:
Site Specific Safety Plan
Project team analyzes and determines specific safety concerns prior to the start of construction and develops action plans to mitigate safety concerns.
Subcontractor Site Specific Safety Plan
We require all trade partners to participate in evaluation of safety concerns associated with their scope of work and develop their specific action plans to mitigate those concerns.
PPE
Notify and require everyone on site to utilize PPE including subcontractors, AHJ's and Owners.
Training
Implement training to meet or exceed OSHA guidelines and requirements.
At the end of the day, safety isn’t just a manual and a checklist. It is a culture that aims to prevent accidents and watch out for everyone on site. Implementing our program and making safety a part of our culture has helped us achieve an EMR of .87 which is well below the industry and national standard.
